The Public Works Department would like your cooperation during the winter months. During this time KEARNEYS does not empty the Town’s garbage receptacles, located along the sidewalk. This results in an accumulation of rotting material and feces in the spring. Therefore, we ask that you refrain from depositing anything in the Town’s garbage bins during the winter months. The bins are covered with plastic bags to keep them from filling with snow and trash. Your cooperation is appreciated.
Garbage Collection - You are reminded that ashes are not permitted for weekly garbage collection.
Parking Restrictions - By-Law T-1, states, "During the months of December, January, February and March, between the hours of midnight and 7:00 am, no person shall stop or park a vehicle unattended on any street in the town." Vehicles will be towed at the owner's expense.
